Looks like David Cameron will be the first British PM in history to attend a royal wedding without wearing morning dress.

Inexcusable, or moving with the times?

Cameron, not Manton that is. Though I would like to see a thread about bespoke Thawbs by Manton.

Its sad. The man is so worried about his public image that he is willing to discard hundreds of years of history.

Agree. And shouldn't he do what the bride and groom ask? I'd wear a chicken suit if I was asked by the B&G.

He's probably worried about coming off in the press as being some sort of elite who's out of touch with the everyday Briton.
