Go with those and later get a pair of Clarks DBs or get a couple pairs of Clarks DBs?

Go with those. If you like them, get them. Don't compromise.

He said something like: "For my first Woolrich Woolen Mills collection, I was inspired chiefly by Ivy League Schools and the US Navy. So I called the collection 'Naval Intelligence'."

Way to give Daiki a run for his money there hoss. Now I have to despise you forever.

im in no hurry, eventually I will. However, I feel kinda like just another RO clone for wanting them. Wish I could find a brand that was as cool as DBSS, but not as clunky looking instead.

EWW, those are abominations. Would be as bad as buying the Dr martens RO boots.

WWM by Daiki was pretty enjoyable IMO He did alot for them, they were pretty much unknown, and now they have a huge web following, on all the big blogs, they got thier own other lines blown up as well. I sorta feel that McNairy is really good at marketing himself and getting on blogs (he always seems to be pretty chummy with alot of the bigger ones) rather then him actually having any talent. Red brick sole killed red brick soles for me, forever.

How can RO chuckalikes be abominations and DBSS sneaks then lauded as being amazing? What is this forum come to, "What Garish **** Are You Wearing Today?"

wrong word choice cuz im drunk, but they are fuckin chucks with ROs label on them wtf (dont forget the sidezip!). Why would I ever pay the price for those.

I didnt even praise DBSS, they are kinda awful in some fits. In others they look amazing. I just don't value/understand their design/think, or think I'd enjoy owning them. They do nothing for my personal aesthetic.

That's like saying the classic sneaks are just dunks with a bad sole lol

Honestly you need alot of swag to pull off the original rick sneaks, it's cool to dress for the tron, but its pretty hard to wear IRL IMO
