Acridsheep - one of your better fitting jackets, shirt sleeves slightly off balance but we all know that can be tricky (see Lufty above!) but to be all business up top then sockless is a huge faux pas IMO. It can be done with a more casual outfit but with a borderline conservative business dress rig it stinks of that ridiculous trend that GQ has been foisting upon us for months now. A pair of sky blue socks would have made this top drawer.

Fair point but remember that from a few feet away (or an iPhone pic away!) it just becomes a navy suit. The casualness of the cotton sort of recedes with distance and you take on a more businesslike profile, but the moment you sit down and cross your legs ...

If it was a pale blue, tan, beige or seersucker I might not have been so abrupt. Also context plays a part, being the difference between a fortune 500 company boardroom meeting or you just stepping up several notches from the khakis and polo shirted drones around you.

That's the crappiest green room I ever saw! So were you on-camera or what, I don't understand, if you weren't one of the parties. Were you a witness?

How does payment for that show work? I assume it's considered binding arbitration, how do they pay the parties?

1) Awful green room
2) Yes, on camera as a witness/attorney. Judge asked me some follow up Qs.
3) Show assigns a pool of money to be awarded to each case. If you lose, you get an appearance fee. Show pays for travel expenses to/from the studio in NYC. Show pays any judgment awarded, so we don;t have to worry about collecting and enforcing a judgment.

I've always thought that dark cotton suits for casual use require casual styling, really

I like both of these, though prefer the Tuesday fit. Congratulations on the award too.

I also liked the recent fits from banis, Spoo and acrid (with the exceptions of the last one's lack of socks, and that his trouser fit esp. below the knee often goes wonky)

Much appreciated! You will be unsurprised to know that I really like what you've pulled off today.

We seem to have channelled the same "bold shirt" memo today. Perhaps if and when the collar wears out, I may switch it to constrast collar:

Back to regular scheduled programme (unbalanced colours and mixing odd coats with non-suit trou):
