yes, really. i don't really want to get into a 4 pg back and forth attempting to justify my perception, it would give the impression I care a lot more than I do, I really have no problem with the guy and those little dialogues bore me enough when I'm just an observer.

but yes, clearly the young fella also looks very uncomfortable in his clothes. i think its the baby face more than anything else

It's definitely more enjoyable as a spectator to see ambitious failures than boring successes.

just to not take a shot and completely bail out, I think ar looks really good in his military-inspired, nom de guerre, alden type fits. i also liked the summery, '80s miami inspired looks he was doing when he had a bit more weight on him. but that hat is ******* awful (and this place is terrible for convincing him he's "pulling it off"), and so is the gothy japanese stuff hes been buying recently. and the skin tight denim

the whole emaciated, goth look, complete with moodily crossing his legs and staring at the ground, is just kinda cringeworthy to me

Don't worry, man, it's all in good fun. You're definitely not the only person here making big purchases on someone else's dime.

SF tends to jump between styles based on posters who look good in said aesthetics becoming popular and the masses following en suite. We all had a OMG LETS BUY LANVINZ moment when SQ crushed in them. I think a lot of attention lately is swaying to that whole dropcrotch-drapey-gothninja movement because of synth (who, no-****, would look good in anything) although it looks like garbage on most here besides synth. 123abc looks good in his clothing, but again, like synth, I bet he'd look good in anything. tldr: the herd follows the herd.

Change the shirt and tie, with a nice pair of captoes like aeglus and hed probably be in business.

This dude obviously knows what he's talking about

SF has always been like this. The assorted WAYWT threads double as time capsules that preserve the various trends SF members have embraced through the years.

That's a good point, actually. B&S not only serves as the dumping grounds for these passe trends, but also the destination of the pieces bought by some members because the pieces looked good on someone else.

I was shopping the other day for furniture with my girl and anything with wood, owls, brick, or fake antiquing was immediately swooned at. Similar concept with apartment / home / interior blogs.
