I personally don't mind hacking pockets per se, but I do feel that on fabrics with a busy pattern, such as gun clubs, they accentuate my already large frame (6"3, 227 pounds), especially given the difficulty of good pattern matching. Hence, I tend to opt for jetted pockets on those fabrics, perhaps crescent if I still want that bit of British panache.

Just placed my 520 order and am thinking a DB patch blazersuit to go with the 516 SB blazersuit.

Anyone care to persuade me otherwise?

DB patch blazer suit seems awful impractical, at least in my opinion.

This looks good but I don't think whnay. has the trousers for the jacket. Will you do 3 patch?
