They DO work well together. The problem is, the top looks fairly western, and khaki bottoms add to that... plus the boots, then the hat is the icing. I mean, your look looks good but makes us do a double-take thanks to some anachronism whether it be intentional or not.

Just think that piece would go better with a gothninja kinda thing.

I actually sort of like that, AR. In a way it reminds me of some n(n) looks but much more subdued. I think a pair of nice cropped pants would bring that fit to a new level.

This is more what I was going for - N(n) has that kind of distinct western vibe to it but still feels almost stereotypically "Japan".

Really sharp as always, aeglus. I think you probably have the best MC/SWD wardrobe combo on here.

Goth Amish and/or Frontier Pimp immediately came to mind. Keep in mind, this is coming from a guy who dresses like Popeye's academic cousin.

That purple Geller shirt is good, I was going to buy it but most of the shirts at Barney's lost their bars somehow.

Need to step up your shirt game. They've really drug...dragged....neither sounds right. They've brought down your latest fits. Use some of that money and cop you some rick/dd/bbs shirts.

Ga-Roche, is it just me or does your tie look too long? It is covering your belt buckle.
