The other thing to remember is to read other people's crits as well. It doesn't need to be a picture about you to have information you need.

Then again, that's pretty obvious I guess.

@Org. Shades look good on you. I wonder about the cuff length though. I think seeing some shirt cuff would make you less torso-y.

Either hold the camera lower, Navi, or get a cheap tripod so you can experiment with camera positions. These shots from on high distort you too much to be helpful. Also, a tripod will let you escape the mirror, which is apparently in a poorly lit room. Try to get outside or near a big window.

The weather in NYC is alleged to get to a state of "sunny and warm" by this afternoon, hence I've broken out today's suit, which hasn't seen the light of day for some months.

I've also broken out my straw fedora for a preview of late spring/early summer, though I fear that some of you will treat me like Kathleen Turner treated Patty Hearst in "Serial Mom" - killed her with a payphone handset for wearing white shoes after Labor Day.

Suit - Paul Stuart (some 15-20 years ago)
Shirt & tie - Brooks Bros.
Cufflinks - Metropolitan Museum of Art
Belt - PRL
Socks - Calvin Klein
Shoes - Fratelli Peluso, via Barney's
Hat - Seifter Associates

Photos are nice, but the fit isn't (IMO). Shoulders are borderline too narrow, button stance too high, waist too tight, sleeves are too slim and too short, and the jacket looks too short as well, though it's hard to tell with these photos.

Only things I don't like about it anymore would be the lapels being too slim (I'm more of a fan of big fat lapels now) and high button stance (but that's not really a problem since I actually have a drop). Looks fine in robot pose from older pics

(if you haven't realized by now, I like simple colors and aggressive cut)
