Does anyone know if J.Crew stopped carrying their Indy boot? When I search their site all they show are a couple bluchers.

Also tried search, did not get the exact answer i was looking for.
Alden gurus, my questions are: What do people think of the AF95 calfskin boot on the Leydon last? Is it worth a buy at $450? How does it compare to boots by the English manufacturers, say Alfred Sargent or Loakes?

If I didn't already have AF84s (Barrie), I'd be all over those AF95s.
I'd rank Alden with AS, C&J or Tricker's. Definitely above the few Loakes that I've seen.

Also I am pretty sure mine had been lightly worn before and they came with some kind of aftermarket Alden commando sole. Which I actually found to be a bonus. I will tell you that for shoes that I plan to wear a lot I will probably not chance seconds. They are great for something you are on the fence about but I have seen problems with some of mine. Also they come with the "Circle R".
