Currently my hours fluctuate depending on the days duties. I've pulled multiple 16 hours in one week, and many full (24 hour) days. THen i'll have a week of 4 hour days.

In the old days ... when the elite ran the world ... professions really were 9-5 ... with half day on Friday. And we all had nice long less than healthy lunches with multiple drinks. Things were civilized. Of course, it was not a "gotta have it right now" kind of world.

Isn,t this how politicians operate to this day. Those weeks that they work at least.

Not all of them drink though.

Some do drugs, some smoke cigarettes, and some play sports ( golf, basketball, jogging, biking, etc. ).

Mother's family was in banking. Oh, those were the days ... especially that last 3 ... at the course. Of course, it was the first three and the middle six that made it all possible.
