have on a heavy dose of Axe leather scent body spray. i have a couple of those in different scents. the leather one is actually not bad at all but really good imo. i wear it at night so when i go to bed without my shirt my sheets smell like it. nice and sexy.

I see what you mean. It seems like a lot of scents I like only last 4 or 5 hours so that has kind of set my attention span. I am 9 hours into MR and the musc is starting to come out (or I just noticed it after reading your post). I tried this once before and I had stopped paying attention by the afternoon. Interesting drydown!

Yeah, if you rub the areas you sprayed the cologne right about now and sniff it, you should smell the raw musk. It's REALLY subtle for me, so unless I do that, I don't really ever smell the musk during the dry down (which is technically cheating, lol).
