I'm sorry, I wish that we could run more. It's just that doing a full denim assortment is a full-time job in itself, and my LA team has their hands full coordinating our ever-expanding chino collection. You can't fit everyone with one shape, but the Smith fits a lot of our customers well, and the Kurabo selvedge is a solid, classic, and beautifully wearing denim. I just had to face that our strength is in tailored trousers and chinos, so that's where we invest most of our efforts.

But never say never! I've got great contacts and we have extremely knowledgeable denim people in our orbit, so it's definitely an ambition of mine to explore a full denim collection in the future.

Thanks for the response. I understand and will keep my eyes on your store in the future.

I do need to try some of your chinos.

Trousers for a Cause

We at Epaulet express our deepest condolences to the affected people of the enormous earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11, 2011. For a limited time, we will host an online sale of selected Epaulet trousers to benefit the victims of this terrible tragedy. These trousers will be marked down 20% from their usual retail price. 50% of the sale price will then be donated to the Red Cross' Japanese relief program. So, for trousers costing $150, we'll donate $75 for each pair sold.

Please note that this sale is online only and final; no exchanges or refunds will be available. If you need help on sizing, just drop me a PM or an e-mail.

You can see the whole assortment here.

^ Awesome, Mike. This is a great idea and a great cause. Picked up the Burnt Umber Tweed Walts in a 32 and am glad to be supporting the relief effort while doing so.

Thank you sir, and thanks to everyone who's ordered today.

I'll do a wrap-up in a week or two and show everyone the check that we're cutting. I believe that we're around a $1000 donation so far.

This is pretty awesome. I needed an excuse to buy to see if they fit me. This is a great excuse. Not too many 36 left though, got the Flannel Pine, and looks like it was the last pair of the 36 in that one. Wanted the Loden Tweed, too, but lunchtime was a bit late for those to stay around.

Also, currently wearing my EP's Smiths right now - they are AWESOME

Cool idea! Kopped Calvary Twill and Worsted Flannel Pine. Would have gone further but for the pending spring delivery...

Hey,

So one of the laces snapped on my Officer's Indy. Anyone (Epaulet) know where I can get some replacements?

Thanks.

Nvm, there is a 28, is the double faced wool pretty heavy? I'm in Phoenix so heavy wool trousers aren't really ideal.

Tried asking in the jeans thread, no one wanted to respond. Figured I'd try hear.

How does Epaulet jeans compare to RRL? Are they completely different animals? Sorry for a possibly noob question, still learning. Still don't want to make the jump to $300 denim.

The Utility Shirt feels great. I know the cut is more relaxed and even a half inch wider at the chest, but unwashed it already fits my shoulders and chest really well compared to previous shirts from you guys in the same size. The hickory stripe details are really nice btw, I just wish women could appreciate the same details on my jeans w/o needing to take off my pants :p

Here's a fit pic. Shirt is XS, and Smiths are 28. I'm about 5'6" 135lbs.

PS. I braved the city and the con with my short sleeve today. It was perfect for San Francisco's beautiful weather earlier. I can't wait till some new colors drops. I'd kill for a white/black madras. Seriously. I watched Super before WonderCon today and I feel like I could bash in a couple heads with a wrench if it'll get me that shirt
