What is this "enough" of which you speak?

it's very nice, but a pebble grain longwing is not really a hard thing to find

I will probably come back later and get several models with commando sole to wear in the rain.

Sure, but IMO planning your Alden purchases takes some of the fun out of it. True of most things, tbh.

Also most Alden soles work fine in the rain. You can weatherize regular leather soles with leather dressing.

ACL has closer looks at the new shoes in the J Crew collection. Half appear to be Alden and half Crockett and Jones.

http://www.acontinuouslean.com/2011/...11/#more-20667

The Alden models shown appear to be

The existing #8 cordovan captoe boot
http://www.acontinuouslean.com/wp-co...n_Tham_025.jpg

A new #8 (or black) cordovan wingtip boot
http://www.acontinuouslean.com/wp-co...J_King_009.jpg

A new dark brown suede wingtip boot
(can't link directly, but it's #3 out of 16 in the slideshow)

Longwing blutchers in #8 cordovan (and possibly black) - they sell these at the NY stores
(slides 6 through 8, slide 13 and slide 16)

At first I thought the snuff suede wingtip boot (slide 11) was Alden because of the crepe sole, but the laces make it appear to be Crockett and Jones. The pebble grain captoe boots, the chelsea boot and the dark brown pebble grain wingtip boot are all Crockett and Joens on dainite soles.

The dark brown calf longwings and ptbs are available at J Crew for 20% off with code SUNNY.
They seem to have pulled everything else.

Just ordered the longwings. Still haven't reached "enough".

Haha, zip..you know "enough" is when you start to skip your mortgage payments.

FYI I ordered those dark brown LWB's from J. Crew before but returned them. In person, they look nearly black and not brown at all.

Why don't you stop acting like a dumb@ss, and actually contribute something useful to this forum.
Unless that can't be helped...

You're comments are like Uncontrol but 100x worse.
