Kiya - (or anyone for that matter)

How do the cuts run in comparison to Pure Blue Japans in general? I'm just getting out of a relationship with an 007 cut which I passionately loved, and yet is barely too tight in the thighs. Would something of comparable waist measurement in SG's generally run bigger in the thigh than a PBJ equivalent?

the SGs i just ordered just showed up at my neighbor's house. I'll report back when they show up. The SG1101's have really loose thighs in comparison to the 007's , but they're a lot looser from the knee down as well. Same for the 1103EX's. Dunno how the XX05 and XX09 cuts compare with PBJ, those are too slim for me. Also, you could just get the 009's and have them tapered from the lower leg, same denim, bigger thighs, and same lower leg measurements after taper

To make sure you're getting what you think you're getting i'd use the measurements provided on our site to compare to the measurements of the jeans you own.
We have 4 different fits from Strike gold.

Yeah - i get that. The one I mentioned above looks like it meets the requirements - a slim straight slightly roomier than a xx005-7 PBJ model.

They've sold extremely fast at our SF store and online, SENY and SELA still have decent size runs if you'd like to place a phone order, shipping is still free to you.

Those actually look pretty good Nomy. I was initially really put by the name because Strike Gold sounds like some casino you'd find off strip in Vegas. Looks like a really good cut though.

Not sure if this helps at all, but I tried on the 1101s at SELA, and they definitely ran smaller in the hips and waist than PBJs do. With PBJs, you have to size down 1, sometimes 2, to get the right fit in the top block, but based on how the SGs felt on me, I wouldn't recommend going any smaller than TTS with them.

Yeah - in the sg model I was looking at (2105), the measurements necessitate going TTS (in my case springing for the 34) as opposed to sizing down one for my xx007s. In doing so, the waist matches up, the rise is just a bit higher, the hem is about the same, and there's just maybe .5 inches more in the thigh, which would be perfect. Thanks, as always, Commodore.
