For me, this is a perfect example of what SF's shoe Appreciation thread is all about. For me, I don't like: 1) loafers, 2) tassles, or 3) suede.

However, there is NO mistaking that these are very beautiful shoes. Although not for me, I can certainly appreciate the aesthetic, as well as the work that goes into designing, then executing something like this.

Moo, my hat's off to the man who can rock some norvegese stefanobi monks on Monday, then come back with these on Tuesday. You are a man of varied tastes... all of them good, it seems.

Thank you! My crappy blackberry pics really do not do them justice. The shell on these shined up beautifully.

Beautiful color, but I don't think I would have chosen a black edge and heel. Maybe something closer to the color of the tassel.

That is the result of a close to perfect fit and buttery soft upper where the stitches are properly placed and executed.

BTW they are beautiful (not surprinsingly)!

That G&G last fits you really well ... nothing more, nothing less.

Yup. I ordered the AS version of these sans medallion with hand sewn apron. Basically the RLPL Addison with a complimentary sole edge color. Can't wait!

This thread always becomes a G+G gaggle threk. The shoes are pedestrian (no pun intended) they are not a great example of G+G design, workmanship or style. They look like fuzzy dice in the front of a late '60s Chevy. Sorry-- bad execution. I don't know who to blame the maker or the purchaser.

Typical SF response. Never ever talk about the emperor's nakedness.
