Orge, the red repp tie looks good. White shirt would've been much better though.

Holdfast - light grey for the shoes.

Looks good. Knit ties aren't commonly worn in a business environment over here, but I don't think anyone would take offence.

That suiting is very bold, but I like it.

Despite both your's and Manton's best efforts I'm still not convinced about tan grain shoes for conservative business dress. I love them for country wear and maybe it's just an English hang up.

I don't see what the problem is with those shoes? They look fairly conservative to me. Socks are a little bright for my taste, but I've seen equally bright worn in very conservative London law firms - they'd pass as conservative business dress over here if not in the States.

Nice 3-pc.I like the way the shirt & tie's textures work together too.

Length is fine as it is.

Very conservative business dress, and nicely done, although the square looks a little close to the tie.

I left my huge head in today for the "boxy" crew.

Have a good one.

Please excuse the sponge mark on the lapel (it had dried before I got to work) - don't try and grab a quick last cup of coffee before ascertaining that the cat is happy with the choice of food you've just presented her with (well not if your cat has as strong a left hook as mine...).

No excuses for the solid herringbone weave tie:

Pretty much. I either do that or white linen. I have a decent assortment of colored linen but I have not been wearing those much lately.

+1 - it shows the suit is cut well to your frame

Also, no solid black socks, damnit!

They aren't solid or black. They are navy with a birdseye pattern.

I figured you wouldn't like the tie.

Not bad TRINI, but what's with that stray strap?
