And there is nothing wrong with getting articles of clothing on sale. In fact, there are very few things out there that most are willing to pay full retail for, otherwise, the general consensus is to always get things you want at a good (often sale) price.

Flip side is, don't buy things that are on sale on the mere fact that it is on sale. Make wise purchases to add things to your wardrobe. I made this mistake early on. Regrettably.

Well, the Brooks Brothers Luxury (name-brand fabrics, made in USA) dress shirts at $67.50 are a really fantastic value.

I received an email from Matches this afternoon. They have a clearance online, 50-75% off, . Most of the items were there in the previous sales. I managed to buy an E. Tautz DB navy cotton trench coat. There was an interesting DB sportcoat, size 38 I think, sold out apparently. Not much left interesting.

Daffy's in Philly has some Incotex. Some really nice cotton staples. Picked up three pairs; brown, navy and grey. 16.99.

Interesting patterened cotton Incotex are 30-40. By interesting I mean really kinda odd, but might work for those who are able to pull off euro sprezz.

Smaller sizes available as low as 26. Some are nut crushers some are cut fuller.

If you are in Munich head the the Pal Zileri store Just off of MaximillianStrasse near the Residenz. They are clearing out the store and moving to a new location on Maximilian Strasse. Spring Summer 2011 stuff 20%, Fall/Winter Suits %50, shirts, sweaters, pants, accessories 70%. Monday is the last day. The spring summer 2011 discount isn't super but I still bit on a couple of items, mainly because it's so hard to find Pal Zileri in the mid west. Scored some great shirts, sweaters and pocket squares for next to nothing
