I did that. Looks great.

I'm with you on this. Just afraid that it's gonna look like a clock on my girly wrist.

They don't look that big. Maybe 40mm?

I think these Timex's from J Crew are a fun, versatile watch. Paired with several colorful watch bands you can have a stylish accent to wear year-round.

Problem is the huge J Crew markup. I would say buy the Timex online and then pick up a couple J Crew bands in store

The Blue Spark is so nice, a real classic, very elegant and so much more legit than 99.9% of the Parnis stuff.

Please post better photos, preferably w/out the "IcanalsodotheRoliethingjustsoyouknow" big bad brother lording over....

I wanted to see one of those Parnis in person so bought one off ebay from Hong kong dealer that had sold a few of them before and had good feedback. It looks nice but it sounds like there are pieces loose inside the watch. I have owned a lot of watches and never experienced this. Anyone else experience this or did I buy a crap watch? It is working so far but if there is a piece or 2 loose in there, who knows for how long. And I am afraid if I move my hand too much, people will hear me coming down the hall!

That doesn't surprise me, unfortunately. Parnis gets a lot of love here, but your story is one I have read often enough on various watch fora that I have never really wanted to buy one.

The problem is that Parnis is not really a brand with a stable component spec. It is a name placed on various assemblies of different cases, movements, etc., sourced from a variety of manufacturers. One never really knows what one is getting. The quality is definitely not consistent.
