looks good though. I like the scaling of the dots on the tie - most of my spotted ties have spots on the large side or small and a bit close.

It is a bit thick. I like the width but the knot is a bit large. I think I will take it to Tiecrafters and see if they can give it more of a "bottle" shape to thin out the knot a bit.

Today's attempt.

New suit arrived in the post yesterday, so I decided to give it a spin (I probably should have left it to hang for a little longer but it isn't creased looking in real life, despite what the photo's appear to show - I guess it's the light fabric). Fabric is Super 130's from Vitale Barberis Canonico (whoever they are), half-canvased, horn-buttons, and the important ticket-pocket

. Nothing special by forum standards, but I'm pretty happy with the fit for unaltered RTW (it's no worse than my semi-disasterous attempts at MTM, and much cheaper).

Details for those that care: Shoes: EG Chelsea, Socks: Pantherella, Suit: Brook Taverner 'St Martins', Shirt: A.Basile, Tie: Made for local shop (probably Michelson's), PS: Howard Yount

Sans tie clip today as I don't like it with this tie as it falls right on the stripe in the tie

I have a dove gray cashmere that I got from edmorel, pre-Panta. Can't remember the brand but it was an Italian one I did not recognize. Nice tie.
