Spellbound F/W 2011 Lookbook:

I am really beginning to love Spellbound as a label. Spellbound is known for denim, but I like the direction they are taking with the overall collection. Besides the intricate details and incredible fabrics which can only truly be noticed in person, I like the refreshing palate and slightly loose comfortable appeal. A lot of this collection is very wearable, easy to layer, and great for year round wear. I am personally liking the shirting, several jackets, and chinos. Love the vest and the chino in the first pic - - chion comes in a slim tapered fit.

Will you receive any shirts that aren't workshirts?

Diggin some of this stuff.

Curious at the fit. When I think made in Japan, I think of a slimmer/smaller fit. But it looks like this label is aimed at a baggier fit. Is that right?

Their shirts are work wear inspired, so even their basic oxford is still going to look like a work shirt. Thus, I am not sure how to answer that.

It is a looser fit, but still modern. High arm holes, no excess fabric in the sleeves, slim in the body, etc. They are making a strong push for international markets, and the fit represents that.

I tried on a few spring things at son of stag in london

ended up with a ticking stripe chambray cardigan

quality is impeccable

although pricey

size wise i felt most of it was on par with eg/post

I meant something that doesn't have the asymmetrical pockets. I really don't like them. How are the oxfords?

Most of the flannels and chambrays have the asymetrical pockets, oxfords and denim shirts are 1 or 2 pockets designs. We will have a few options.

Spellbound Oxfords:

I've had several customers ask for basic oxford shirts from Spellbound, well here are a few options. For spring, Spellbound has blue and white available for immediate delivery. For fall, all 3 of these colors will be available (September delivery). Price for spring will be about $185, for fall I am not sure yet. I personally like the subtle colors and the simple design and I really like the washed process giving the wrinkled look. No chest pocket, clean. Does anyone have opinions?

Thanks!

Shipped yesterday and will arrive in about 1 week. They will be online hopefully the day they arrive. Sizing will be similar to other models we stock.

Spellbound Oxfords:
We sold through a lot of sizes in our first shipment and were not expecting to get more until fall, but got lucky as some became available. We have another shipment on the way and will have all 3 colors. Arrives late next week.
