This is something I have always liked as well.

But as someone else mentioned, dressing mc should be strictly reserved for pretty girls

Right. The juxtaposition of of the feminine with the masculine is what can make this charming. I don't, however, recommend women that look like Agatha Trunchbull try this.

I feel like this is a look that only works on the prettiest of girls(top 5% or so)

On an average looking girl it would just look butch.
