What are the thoughts on Tissot watches? My gf bought me this PR100 for my birthday and it seems like a pretty decent watch for the price. I didn't think you could get a sapphire crystal in a watch for less than $500.

I've had a Tissot TXL Chrono for years (since I graduated uni) and it has been rock solid.

I don't know too much about watches, but it looks cool. Been considering the PRC200 for a while now.

Best of all though, your GF gave it to you.

The pics I posted of all my watches (few pages back) were all gifts. They're not expensive watches by any stretch, but they all have sentimental value.

Yeah, it was definitely a good gift. She even got it for me when she was visiting her parents in Switzerland, so it's authentic! haha

Tissot is a good watch brand for the price, definitely. My wife has one, she loves it and it works like a charm.

So far it seems like a great watch, although I'm going to replace the Nato strap with something leather.

The absurd thing is that a decent strap costs more than the watch...
