So in the meantime, my variety of loafers will have to do.

Cheers. I do go with that combo from time to time with a black Panta cashmere tie.

Tough one. They are common enough for business. I think they used to be a prep staple (perhaps wrong?).

I certainly saw a lot of them in California in the '80s and '90s. My first non-loafer, non-saddle, non-buck was a tassle loafter. Had two pair, in college, never got more.

You seem to imply that trousers fit well only if they fit at the waist/hips. This may be your opinion but it's incorrect. Good fit is also through the leg and in the length.

I also think that old/old could benefit from a less baggy trouser leg. I also think it is within the range of acceptable, but that doesn't mean it's optimal.

Finally, don't get so mad. People voice their opinions, you voice yours. All good.

well said, this is what i was getting at.

I've created a new thread to talk about trousers in an civilised fashion (as opposed to my previous curmudgeonry that I've since backtracked from).

Isn't it? I'd love one in brown silk.

Because of the volume of orders they have, C&J aren't accepting new orders until March. Basically, you're SOL if your preferred retailer doesn't have your size in stock.

Could someone please sticky this? Hell, forget stickying. Could someone incorporate it into the login process so that everyone has to click that they agree to these terms before they can post? emptym? j?

I'm guessing o/o is a man you listen to, regardless of his socks.

It's March now though (unless I'm more behind than I think - which is possible). Or do you mean March 2012?
