I commute from a dodgy area so dont really feel safe when wearing my suit. Do other members have a similar issue?

I feel like John Matrix, John McClaine, and Charlie Bronson rolled into one.

No problems with safety. I have always asked for a bullet proof canvas and padding for my bespoke suits.

My father always taught me that in order not to get mugged is to exude an air that you own the world when in dodgy areas. They might think you're strapped.

I wouldn't worry about my choice of clothes if I lived in a dodgy area, I would just relocate to a safer country.

Yep, feel totally safe, if not safer. I get the impression people think you're someone that shouldn't be touched in the first place. Compared to more "normal" clothes, you have to admit it is far less "punk" like.

I also rarely wear suits all the time.
