What about Barbour?

I've always heard and said "Bar-Boar" but I've also heard "Ber-Ber"

Worsted = woo-sted or war-sted or wer-sted?

I have always said "wer", but heard "woo" the other day ...

That is exactly what I heard - pronounced that way by Patrick Grant in his wee video promo

That is certainly the local pronunciation of the name in South Shields where the company is based, and the only one I have ever heard in the UK.

I would instruct most non-French-speakers to say "door-MOY," which is a close-enough pronunciation that is easy enough to say and will not cause too much embarrassment in the attempt. It's not 100% correct, but it's good enough for conversational purposes. I have a hard enough time getting friends not to read "Zegna" with a hard "g," let alone getting them to pronounce French names correctly.
