I'd also taper the sleeves a bit as that should be an easy enough fix.

Does anybody have experience with the Zegna Cool Effect fabric? Does it live up to the hype, and more importantly, is it worth the significantly higher cost? WW Chan charges $400 less for a comparable weight Zegna Tropical than for the CE.

Do they charge comparable rates? Harrison/Isles doesn't have pricing on their website.

If this is indeed an easy fix, I second SF's suggestion.

Some recently acquired older LL fabrics thanks to a certain SF'er. Lovely stuff. The Brisa has some give to it which I like. The brown tweed is a shade lighter than I thought it might be for whatever reason which very much turned out to my liking. It's a wonderful, warm color.

Indeed lovely. I looked as well, but given I've already subscribed to the upcoming RAF PoW and a light blue tweed they're offering, I decided to let this one go...

And, since no iGent is complete without a blue Donegal jacket (or maybe suit), I was eyeballing this. Has anyone heard of "Castle Tweed"? This is 80 merino wool / 20 silk. 14 oz. Feels good, but have no idea about its relative quality.

From Elliot Weave? It looks very nice on their website. Sent them emails but got no reply..

I'm still in doubt whether to reserve the shirt shoulder for sport coats and summer suits and have an unpadded slightly roped shoulder for my business suits. Will see in two weeks when I have a fitting for 3 other suits.

In the meantime I received a W Bill Donegal (machine woven 14 oz if I'm not mistaken; will check the number when I get home) to which some minor changes were made after the last fitting.
