Thanks for the compliments. CLee, I agree that monks are not too versatile, so if I could only have 5 pairs of shoes I'd only have one monk, max. But I'm a sucker for the style

I've been looking at the Alden suede Chukka...do you guys think the light tan suede is appropriate for spring/summer? Curious because I've only seen suede chukkas in the fall.

My new St. Crispin's. After an initial wear, this "classic" last may fit me better than any other top-tier RTW make - EG 888/82, G&G TG73, JL 8000 and Vass F/U included. The hollowed-out trees are magnificent, and this may become my "go-to" travel pair as a result. I'm loving the lines, and equally loving the 6-week MTO turnaround!

They appear to be dark brown on my monitor.

Either way they're gorgeous

Interesting. Can't remember ever seeing long wings without brogueing (though maybe because I never thought to look.)

Borgioli for Franco's Norvegese shell cordovan bluchers.

Just a different take on the regular shell blucher. Got these on the B&S thread around a year ago. These get quite a few compliments. Please forgive me for neglecting to wipe 'em down before posting pics.
