Brown/cream Moonbeam for Mina. It's so soft, feels decadent.

The Donegal I'm still not sure about, but since I started that thread many moons ago, I thought I should follow up on it. After seeing NOBD, gdl and Foo's blue Donegals, I'm totally DTO-ing. I was going to see what Mina thought of the cloth before ordering it.

Agreed about the Moonbeam. I have two myself.

Gotcha. Still waiting for next Fall to have my blue donegal herringbone made up from the monster 20oz London Lounge fabric. Can't wait!

Moonbeam is awesome stuff. W. Bill has a similar fabric (Lamlana) that also looks to be very nice.

Agreed. The Moonbeam designs seem to be a bit more fun though.

Are you seeing Mina for each of your orders or is she doing anything without fittings?

It was you (and Mao2x) who gave me the idea of a donegal suit"”not a blue one per se, but still. I like that one, Parker: "city tweed" (like my Scabal). Make it a suit (if the blend allows for it).

Quite durable imo. That was my biggest concern prior to ordering my first one, and Raph (correctly) assured me it would hold up well.

Used to be Andrew Rogers, but he has sadly retired.

www.scotweb.co.uk and Isles Textiles (the US distributor of LBD-Harrisons) will both sell cut lengths.

Let's try this again Buttons are 1/4" too close but I'll live with it. And ignore the pants...I've dropped about 10 lbs and need to get them altered.

I think you could do with a less cutaway quarters (or round them off some. The sleeves could use a slimming below the elbow.

^ Looks pretty fun. While not classically proportioned as you mention, somehow it works in its own way. Just the cahracter of that garment.

I like the pants as is personally. They seem a bit rumpled in spots, but I imagine that has to do with normal wear from the day more than anything. I've been moving away from slim trousers that constrict any movement.
