If Indian food is not too adventurous for your dining companions or yourself, I would HIGHLY recommend Dhaba, located at 309 King St W.

Every time (and I mean every) I am in Toronto, I make it a point to go there. The food is amazing and authentic. To make my point, I have a friend how emigrated from India 15 - 20 yrs ago. When I took him there, his comment was simply, "I miss this food..."

If you do go, and are not up on the different dishes from India, I recommend the sample Prix Fixe menu. Its amazing and you will not be dissapointed.

What do you like - in terms of cuisine, activities, hobbies, etc. Toronto is a big place and cater to almost every whim - except men's shoes.

Toronto has some decent food if you venture outside the downtown box (Front to Bloor, Spadina to Yonge). Otherwise it's just a midwestern city that thinks it's way cooler than it is.

Go to Queen St. west of Bathurst for shopping, eat at Black Hoof, Buca, Splendido and Jacobs & Co., then catch a flight out.

Canadian chicks will be all over you because you are American. They'll be like "Oh, please stick your sexy American wang in me, eh?" Remeber that their men are effeminate and French and socialist. Watch out for the hockey players, though. You'll probably lose that fight.

Check out FRANTIC CITY used books and records on Ossington Ave.

And the Trash Palace Cinema for fun screenings.

Um, that would be most of us. Well, excepting the immigrants ...

I am 24. Taking a day trip from Detroit. Visiting a few friends in Michigan and they want to see Toronto. Down for good food and a few sights. Probably head back to Detroit in the evening.
