I don't like them, but they'd probably go with the casual stuff you wear. That's probably not very helpful. Not at all a dig at your casual fits, either.

Which of the following (any or all) concert tickets should I get:

- Mark Kozelek (former Sun Kil Moon)
- Handsome Furs (leaning toward skipping, since I just saw Wolf Parade)
- Sleigh Bells (liked what I caught of their set opening for LCD Soundsystem last fall)
- Yeasayer
- Iron & Wine (haven't gotten his new album yet, although I ordered it; I like some of his earlier stuff and find other things too slow/quiet)

Already bought tickets to:

- Cut Copy
- TV on the Radio
- Elephant Six Collective "Holiday Surprise" show (not sure what that last part means)

canvas and rubber sole. It's hard to justify this at $300 (and it's not likely to hit sales), but I really like the shape.

PaulYAY, that's a great shape—but canvas, really? I would swear from those pictures it's suede. I agree if not it's hard to justify.

Sleigh Bells had a lot of weak songs on the album I heard. I'd say Iron & Wine would be maximum romance if you have a girl with you, but Yeasayer would be extremely awesome for every other possible reason. Haven't heard this Sun Kil Moon guy yet though.

Mark Kozelek is also formerly of Red House Painters, if that helps. Sun Kil Moon had some good stuff, but they also have an album of Modest Mouse covers, which strikes me as lame and unnecessary (although I think they were all from before Modest Mouse started sucking).

Probably a good call on making the Iron & Wine show a girl-dependent ticket purchase.

I don't have much opinion on which you should get, but I would definitely pass on Sleigh Bells. I was pretty disappointed in their live show, though it was outdoors which could have been a factor

Good calls on Cut Copy and Elephant Six though
