Agreed, let's not turn this into a repository of pictures of bikes just dumped from other sites. Freezing cold day here in NYC, but been riding every day anyway.

They're not show bikes by any stretch of the imagination. I ride the s#!t out of all of them. And rarely clean them.

This bike is looking sick Kookz, and I am normally not a fran of the Ducati aesthetic. What all have you done to it?

Thanks. Started with a stock '06 Sport 1000 Monoposto (which was the only model to get the asymmetrical swingarm/single rear shock and dry clutch).

Swapped the entire front end for one from a 1098 (forks, brakes, clipons, master cylinders)
999 wheels front and rear
999 rear brake
Zard exhaust
Removed belt covers
EVR pressure plate/springs
Open clutch cover
Removed battery box/battery (replaced with a 2 lb LiFePo4 cell under the seat)
Higher spring rate Eibach spring on the rear

I think that's really everything that's visible on it, the only other thing is a lightweight flywheel. The ECU and Power Commander are waiting for a day on the dyno to go on.

Great call. Investment in your happiness...priceless advice.

By the way, would it offend anybody's sensibilities if I posted some photos of my vespas, or is that not appropriate on this thread?

Obviously, I prefer a classic American motorcycle like Harley Davidson, but a huge fan of Brit bikes as well, and looking for a late 60s/early 70s Triumph to round out my collection..
