I like my P&Rs. They sure are fitted.. I wear them for posing. For frolicking I wear looser shorts.

Some of these shorter ones that are not skin tight...I would think your junk would pop out (at least if you boned up) Seems inconvenient if they don't have a lining. I have a pair of shorts similar to these from last season http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/s...1258/91258.jsp and since the drawstring doesn't run all the way around the waist, I find them close to falling off. I bought them TTS and should have gone down a bit. Maybe I will try ordering a pair of the j crew trunks which claim to be 6" but appear to have a drawstring that will actually let you tighten them.

Not that expensive considering if the beach if your 'lifestyle' then you have to invest in a few pairs that won't fall apart from high salt and/or chlorine use.

i found some great swimwear in Israel* which is still holding shape after a couple of years.

That would be Grigio Perla. The exact original is long out of production but these are extremely close (the only difference I can see is the logo): http://www.internationaljock.com/gri...ielo,8931.html

Yes, no stretch, but the only problem I have is top of waist is a little loose but my balls are happy, unlike the 34s.

P&R make quality stuff though (the swim trunks at least)

Gah, I ordered a pair of 34's from their sale/clearance section yesterday. I typically wear 34" jeans in almost all brands. Hopefully they fit ok since there is a no return/exchange policy on clearance.

You might want to go ahead and come up with a contingency plan now. The sale stuff runs small

I am a huge fan of Birdwells. As others have mentioned, their website used to be a mess of colored text - they thought it was part of the charm. Late last year, there was some kind of family fight or power struggle that caused a disruption in the business. Looks like they are currently upgrading the website - give it some time. If you need them now - try to give them a call. These trunks are the best - hand made in Orange County, CA to your specifications for about 60 bucks.

I like them, but the velcro they use is absolute ****. At least on the two pairs I've had

NP, eyeing these myself as a reward once I drop my bodyfat below 10%. Should be able to do it before summer on current schedule, can't wait..

^^ Funny reading that given your username. Good luck, if you can pull of those trunks you are the man.

I have a related problem regarding workout shorts..

Every type of workout shorts that I've tried on feels like I have flags waving from my thighs. Granted, I have rather skinny thighs. Can anyone recommend some workout shorts that fit slim in the thigh? Thanks
