After I buy some new boots and some vans to dirty up over summer I think I might take a break from buying clothing and start upping my lifestyle swag. New lamps, new bedding, possibly a custom chair from work or a Jere Raindrops Sculpture. Just kinda tired of buying clothes.

it's because the people who played and loved it as kids grew up and realized that they don't need to all play call of duty to feel like adults

Well, thats good I guess, but I fail to see how playing COD is any more adult. Especially when half the people online are middle schoolers shouting obscenities. I know you're not saying this, but I see your point.

all I know is..its ******* pokemon. A super formulaic game, not that mind blowing.

I just pulled up the lyrics to this

just about any given couplet warrants sufficient stimuli to make one's dick invert itself under said circumstance. not excluding this wonderful little bridge:

Don't be a drag - just be a queen
Don't be a drag - just be a queen
Don't be a drag - just be a queen
Don't be!

The only FPS that grabbed me was Quake 3, probably because I could gib people as a walking eyeball.

most people that play cod are +24 y/o. but yah, I had urges to play pokemon for some reason back when I was in Portugal 2 years ago. I found my old gameboy I left there and it just reminded me of being a kid. I think the appeal of the game has to do with the unadulterated fun; no gross humour or obscene violence needed to get enjoyment out of playing. There's obviously a nostalgia factor in it too.

And then there are those kids who like things that are old for the sake of liking things that are old.
