Could be a nice pair of shoes, jacket, watch etc etc.

For me during the past few month it's been a fitted Navy Blue Etro wool coat with vertical stripes on the inside. I also have an old messenger bag that's a beautiful shade of worn brown leather that gets a lot of compliments.

Curious to hear your experiences!

Charcoal Brioni suit. And a pair of walnut oxfords with medium broguing. Dunno why, but those two items get the most 'love'.

I get the most compliments on my horrible Kenneth Cole watch I wear on occasion. Its cheap all the way around but plebs seem to really like it.

No one compliments me. But I can sense the appreciation people around me give for me dressing nicely. To me that's good enough.

I got complimented on a country check jacket I had on yesterday, but thats about it. Everyone (including grown ass men) who works in my building runs around in hoodies, jeans, kicks, and baseball caps all day, every day.

Bulging in slim fit pants is for the minor leagues, junior. Unless you can do it in baggy pants you've got nothing to brag about.

White jeans. It's especially weird when other men compliment them.

At the same time, I get more negative comments about them than compliments, but they're very loud, so it's expected.
