I'd like to find a 1920's Enfield, Triumph, or Brough Superior single.

Not impossible to find in Europe, tougher here in the states. $10-20k unless it's something terrifyingly rare, so perfectly attainable and will only appreciate.

Right now, the oldest bike I've ever owned is my '60 Super Cub.

I've been a gearhead since just about birth, but the longer I'm into it, I get drawn towards older and older machinery. The end result of this is surely Steam Tractors.

Haven't had this one out since November, so dropped the battery in and took it out today.

I'm thinking about selling a 2010 BMW GS1200 Adventure with everything to buy a Porsche Cayman. It has the premium package. (heated grips, adjustable suspension, on/off ABS) Also have the full BMW aluminum pannier system. PM for info.

Ha nice. I'll probably wait a month to really try to sell it though. Once spring comes everybody wants to buy bikes. What are you trying to get rid of?

Was at the Motorcycles show a few weeks back, and fell inlove with the Russian Ural motor bikes; they look awesome and the new ones have a good engine. Plus the side cars could be insanely fun: http://www.ural.com/

Nice! Always good to see a proper Brit bike 'round here. I have a few old Brits myself. Is that a '71 or '72?

I've no personal experience with them, but Urals are super cool. 2 wheel drive!

You can get a new Royal Enfield with a sidecar for like $7k, which is a lot of awesome for $7k.

Its a 71. I thought about getting a newer T100 but I just had to go classic. Been riding it all day. Does anyone else in the va/nc area think this weather is freakishly heavenly? heres some photos from today. I put the cafe seat and tail light on it last week. Im absolutly in love with this thing.

Good choice. That '71 is 50 pounds lighter and much better in the twisties than a new Bonnie.

I'm faster on my '79 Bonnie than on the '04 Bonnie I used to have.

I would if it was a liter bike. I'd actually put down a deposit if I could stick an Aprilia V4 or S1000RR engine in there.

two questions for you gentlemen out there.

1. What do you think of the new Thruxton?

2. What do you think of the Ducati Sport 1000 Classic?
