Very good book. It calls for the "dissolution and disappearance of architecture" from the "singular object" process of assembling autonomous buildings together to form cities into a process in which architects value the modification of existing contexts in a way that reduces architecture's propensity to capture attention. Instead, the focus should return to subtly designing spatial atmospheres for pleasurable living as exemplified in the traditional Japanese values with the goal of an urbanism that reads with a continuous and cohesive linearity rather than a fragmented sum of polarized parts.
It's only like 55 pages.
