Was it Uncontrol that said KVA was the least imaginative designer out there?

Ehhh, he'd be far wrong. Micheal Kors anyone? John Varvatos?

I don't think that he'd have to dilute anything doing Dior couture. And he's on top of the game yes, but helming one of the old school houses gives you opportunities that are nowhere else.

+1
Lanvin, unlike Dior, is actually growing....and really fast.
They've opened 2 stores in the US within the past year.

All Dior has done is take their clothes out of every department store (like Saks) and shoved them into Dior boutiques.

I'm working on my summer uniform, which basically has to be put together with no budget whatsoever. Right now I'm thinking black tank, grey cropped trousers and some really cheap-y low-sole (p)leather oxfords from Zara or the like worn without socks.

Throw in my s2a necklace and freshly minted biceps and I'm ready to **** my way through summer hipster concerts.

what kind of pants do you guys wear that are light enough my summer? My 511 khakis I feel would be way too heavy for >70º.

linen bro.

seersucker too.

although not everyone here likes my choices.
certainly light cotton is fine for most of summer. Right in the middle you do have to just go singlets and shorts, depending on how hot it gets where you are.

Definitely need to up my summer pant game. I'm always resorted to shorts, but some nice lightweight cropped pants would be nice too.

Looking for ideas/examples of how to wear a blazer without it looking like a suit orphan or contrived like I stepped out of a GQ photoshoot.

try putting your arms through the arm holes then pulling the jacket up over your shoulders and buttoning. the end result should look something like this
