Why do people insist on asking strangers who have never seen their foot advice on what size to wear? Get fitted! Alden has a long history of making orthopedic shoes, why not use their competence?

What are people's opinions on which is better? Ravello, Whiskey or Cigar (for long wings) if I already have Color 8s? I can't decide what my next pair should be!

From the pic, I can't see any wine on the longwings at all. If I were you, I would use a very light soap and warm water solution to loosen the big stains with a gentle wash cloth, and then hit the shoes with a good cleaner/conditioner like Saphir Renovateur or Meltonian All Purpose Shoe Cleaner & Conditioner.

Thanks. I already removed the wine. Now the left shoe or the shoe on the right in the picture has become much lighter. Just trying to even the color back out.

Tough to tell from the picture which is lighter. Once you have them cleaned as well as you can, you should use a wax such as Kiwi medium tan to help even out the color. (although any change will be VERY subtle) To help clean, you can try saphir renovateur or meltonian cream.
Thanks for your reply. Yea the left shoe is at least one shade lighter. If I use the kiwi medium, this should even out the color? Can I buy Kiwi medium and saphir renovateur anywhere local? Thanks

Wouldn't that really depend upon where local is for you? But the probably answer is "no".
Go to the men's clothing forum and click on the Hangar Project ad. He had renovateur in stock last I checked.
Obviously you can get kiwi anywhere.

Interesting, they look like the leather might be slightly different. Did you buy them from stock or did they have to be ordered in from Alden? The reason I ask is that the Alden rep did indicate that they were switching the leather on this shoe, so perhaps your aniline is from a different tannery?

They were stock. I think it is the way the flash hit them as they both look almost identical in person.
They definitely look like they are from the same tannery and piece of hide.
