Fixed for me. My wife makes a sort of Sloppy Joe using alphabet soup, ketchup and mustard mixed into the beef. It is just not the same. It's not bad, but not a "real" Sloppy Joe.

I grew up in North Brunswick and Piscataway.. but I've also seen them on menus in the midwest listed as "New York Sloppy Joe"

mmm. sloppy joes. had these a lot in the cafeteria when i was in grade school. i remember kids would always say they were made with horsemeat but i didnt care i was always hungry back then and my parents were struggling. had a lot of hamburger helper too. that's how i grew up.
