Hmmmm yeah.

I'm pretty sure Lamborghinis are totally exempted from any normal rules.

They've never aped a styling cue from anyone else in their entire history, and they've built a brand around physics-defying atomic death wedges.

So...overruled.

Come to think of it, how the hell do these new Lambos adhere to the pedestrian safety bumper regulations? They look like they'll just snap the tibias of any pedestrians they hit.

Does shark fin antenna serve any real function? For satelite radio? All the luxury marques have them. They even appear on some non-luxury models like Hyundae. There're even some after market purely decorative ones that can be attached to ricers.

Such a sick car. The people who bought Reventon's for over a million are really suckers, because everyone knew that eventually Lambo would come out with a similar car at the 'normal' Lambo price.

Sort of an extension of the OP, but I don't like bare carbon cars or exposed bare carbon parts. It's trying to hard. CF is fine for interior trim, engine compartment trim, etc. But not on body panels (IMHO).

Apparently there are different regs for cars that don't have the engine up front.

I don't like it at all. Lamborghini Superlagera has carbon door panels. Hard and uncomfortable.

All that said the wing on my porsche is bare carbon so I think that makes me a hypocrite.

Front bumper is also carbon but painted flat black.

I don't like it "here and there", except maybe for a GT wing on a very track focused car.

If the WHOLE car is bare carbon, I sort of dig, like the Bugatti EB110SS, Zonda R, etc.

In other news, I HATE fender flares like this. What is with those flat arch areas just above the wheel? I like flares in general, but why the flat part? EVERYONE does this, and I despise it.

THIS is a flare, people. That other **** up above makes me want to get out my fender roller and a heat gun and do some work.

ALSO: I don't mind paddle shifters, but why are they on the wheel? What if I need to shift while I'm cornering? My paddle is going to be at some impossible angle.

Every racing car with paddle shifters has them on the COLUMN, not on the wheel, so they're always in the same place no matter what position the wheel is in.

I understand that generally you're not supposed to be shifting in a corner, you downshift before, but sometimes you'll have to in a decreasing/increasing radius corner.
