a bill for delivery is....

I only know how to get Papa John's over here because my Blackberry (which I have to charge up for the purpose) is on their register and they know my address and previous orders, so I don't have to do much, just say 'yes!.' Haven't popped my iPhone number's cherry by getting delivery yet.

I always order takeout, and then arrive 5 minutes early, because it's usually ready, and I don't want it just sitting there...

What do you do with this $100 take out order once it got to you?

Do you use plates and silverware and all that?

One of the benefits of ordering delivery is that you eat the **** you order out of the container it comes in, toss it back in the bag it was delivered in and throw it in the garbage.

At work, our dinner choice is made by some administrative assistant upstairs who is going to be working the reception desk that night...usually it is all fine and dandy but sometimes some terrible choices show up. There is one woman who seems to want to order from Portillos at least 50% of the time she works. Now don't get me wrong...I can go for a good italian beef and sausage combo with cheese from time to time--it is just that usually I am drunk, not stuck at my desk.

It is also alarming when something like chiles shows up (I have seen applebees once too). I can't fathom why you would choose Chiles...it is not like you are paying for it! We use a service that covers a fair amount of restaurants in the city and yet the woman working that night decides we should all eat from Chiles.

I get a triple-fajita combo (beef/chicken/shrimp) since their fajitas are usually reasonably good in the actual restaurant. When it arrives over an hour late (at which point I am actually done with my work), it is cold, missing the rice and beans which were paid extra for, and finally it was missing the *chicken*. They left an entire meat out of the food..wtf?

^ we had something similar at an office I worked at, I ended up boning said girl, and then later broke up with her when she brought a cold Whopper to my house on a Sunday when I was bed. I couldn't handle it anymore.

How many times did you take this one back? A dozen?

quite a bit more, but I used the word '*****' in my Sunday opening, I think. Now she's married and living in Vietnam with her work-placed husband and kid and talks to me on MSN as of two years ago and hates her life. Delivery food really does ruin people's lives.

Next time I know that if I want to catch you in Korea, I'll have to pretend to be a ******* fast-food delivery guy. Asshole.

This guy I work with (who is in Chicago) literally gets delivery from the same place every time he orders food (which seems to be very, very often), no matter what he's in the mood for. The place apparently makes everything from burgers to Mexican food. I asked him what his favorite pizza was, and he named this same place (which is definitely not known for its pizza).

I saw about 20 minutes of a Biggest Loser episode while at the gym. This guy who is like 18000lbs was talking about how he had a standing order at a pizza place. They'd simply call him and let him know the pizza was on the way every night, no need to even call. Jesus christ.
