I've never understood why someone would choose to spend their life frustrating the noble efforts of the smart and hardworking people who work in healthcare.

Because someone with an ability to read a P&L has to keep your narrow asses in business and the pay cheques flowing. That Lexus you're driving didn't end up in your garage because you're noble.

Who cares if insurance is reimbursing incorrectly if the work is noble.

I didn't create this thread for those who cannot fathom the need of an understanding of business to run organization.

I was interested in hearing from anyone in this field of work. Either publicly or by private message.

Well, that's the thing about threads, they get a life of their own.

What do you specifically want to know about health care admin? Does it pay well? Yes. Is it stressful, often give you 60 hours weeks? Yes. Is it 9-5? No. Is it a growth industry? With the aging of the Boomers, for sure.
