Audi - The costly unreliability of a German car. They market the cars as luxury, but make even the most basic accessories options. Also, the dealership experience is wretched. Worst of all, my wife really wants one.

I was a little surprised to come here and see their newer, more sneakery-looking stuff had taken off with the early twenties crowd, the kind who likes to overpay for what was once considered workwear. But maybe that's where the annoying comes in: commodification of the 'authentic' is always a little icky.
And it came to pass that a man who sold shirts was smitten by hard times. Neither did any of his merchandise move nor did he prosper. HM, Zara, UCB, Uniqlo, Superdry, Gap - very, very low quality.
For the pricepoint, I don't see the low quality you're talking about here. I go to the Gap for 8 buck t-shirts. Uniqlo consistently has very wearable pieces at those prices. H&M and Zara (barring some of Zara's terrible design decisions I mentioned before) have their functions too. You can't just write off everything affordable as being unwearably low quality unless you're Scrooge McDuck.
