Hmmm, just got a bottle of that. So far very underwhelmed. I'll give it a shot again in a few days, thanks for the reminder.

I saw so many good reviews of GV but found it very underwhelming. Maybe I missed something?

Starts off too strong but overall i really like that one. Can be found for pretty cheap and it's a nice fruity tobacco leather thing. Nice work, although a little too sweet at times.

Today - Jubilation XXV, nice scent but it seems to lack longevity. Anyone else find that or is it just me?

Givenchy Vetyver is VERY subtle...good...but not much presence.

Virgin Island Water is gross. GROSS. Period. No discussion. Get Bronze Goddess if you want to smell like a sweaty teenage girl who doesn't shower after she goes to the beach at a nasty resort in Cancun.

If you're finding XXV lacking in longevity, your nose is tired. Or you're anosmic to that crazy woody amber in the base. It lasts for days on me.

ps - I have a travel bottle of Vetiver Tonka for you.

Just the opposite for me. That dried fruit in ambery/sandalwood punch scent lasts for 24hrs. If only more fragrances were so tenacious. Oh yeah, I'm wearing Signoricci today. Kind of a polite YSL Pour Homme. Not bad, but sort of meek.

sorry, total brain-blank moment. I meant PROJECTION on Jubilation XXV, the longevity is excellent. Anyone have problems with Projection of this bad boy?

Hmmm...hard to tell. I've never been a good judge on whether or not something projected. I think it's because I don't produce enough body-heat(?)

I'd be fairly confident that it projects relatively well though...it's one that I continue to catch whiffs of during the day.

When I wear XXV, I can't smell it on my skin after a few hours. At first I thought that it had very poor longevity, which surprised me. But then I noticed that when I left a room and came back, I could smell the scent in the room. But I still couldn't smell it on my arm.

hmmm, sounds tricky. Ok, i'll stick with it.

Tonight testing out C&S - O&C (weak), and #88 (v.good!), plus Gris Clair (winner!)

Was given a large number of Bond No. 9 Brooklyn samples recently. It's cool by itself, but mixes incredibly well well with Bleu de Chanel. The only issue is that Brooklyn is a touch pricey. Anyone know of a suitable replacement?

I really like O&C as well, although it's awfully pricey for what it is.

Today: Giorgio for Men. Big honking Fabio-in-a-bottle.

Any generic blue juice should suffice.

Bvlgari Man completely reminded me of Brooklyn.

Wearing a blind buy, Mandarina Duck Pure Black. It's okay. I get sort of a sweet coffee/leather or maybe tobacco. Not sure which is which. Gets citrusy as it dries down. Has a very designer feel to it. After just a couple hours I think it's fading, and I'm not too optimistic on longevity, but I guess I'll find out later today.

Yes, just a touch.

O&C has a great opening, agreed... but the stuff was literally gone in like a half hour.

Today, Creed VIW. 3 hours and still going strong... so far so good. a little too synthetic though.
