Picked up some Tim Hamilton "slouch" chinos last night...anybody have any experience? They seem really great, I'll give them a test run soon. Also, some pics when I get the chance...

Does anyone know of any slim-fitting hiking pants in heavy twill? I've tried on pairs from Columbia, The North Face, Patagonia and Mountain Khakis, and - surprise - they're all incredibly baggy. I'm planning to wear them for hiking and international trips where I only take one pair of pants, so I'm hoping to find something that fits well, but is also rugged with very little maintenance.

Hey,

Did anyone get the Dockers Slim Fit Soft Khakis? I was wondering about the fit and how slim it actually is.

The waders are out of stock otherwise that'd be perfect.

So I'm looking at the Slim Fit Khakis since it's on sale for 30.

Thanks.

Yeah, tagged 30 waist in the waders measured a bit less than 15" across the waist when laid flat.

I got my wader's yesterday. I ordered the hazy jade and earth. The measurements are definitely true to size. I sized up 2 sizes compared to most of the other pants I own. The hazy jade is a great color. It's more green than on the website, but I really like it. My only complaint is that the rise is a little lower than I prefer on my pants. an additional inch would make them perfect. Still not bad for $20 though.

Thanks.

As for the sf tapered, the website says the leg opening is 18". That's gotta be a typo, right? I thought they were 15", same as the waders.

Waders are definitely TTS if not slightly smaller.
I got a pair in my usual 34 (I measure 36) and I couldn't even button em.
Like they were out of the boys department. Totally comical.
Short inseam looks absurd on my tall ass.

Kind of slim through the seat and thigh, but then a straight leg below the knee, with an 18" opening. Overall, not really a slim fit. Tried these in a few colors, but sent them all back.

does anyone know if there's a difference in fit from the waders to the SF tapered? is the only difference the inseam, or is there a difference in rise too?

They fit kinda like 514s. Straight from knee down.

I have both and the rise is about 1" higher on the SF tapered. I got 30 inseam on both and the SF's inseam is about 0.25" longer also.

Any slim chinos out there with anything close to a 17.5CM leg opening?

Levis 510 chinos are pretty similar but the top block always fits me weird...
