Also interesting is the long list of fit mistakes I've made over the years to get to get to the current state. Here are the ones I have purchased, worn and remember getting rid of. This list doesn't count ones I've purchased and had to return for fit-related reasons:

chukkas in whiskey, cigar (2 pair) and #8
black shell plaza captoe boots (2 pair)
perf captoe bals (black calf and #8 shell)

It's funny what some people will do to combat insomnia... like counting a forum member's pairs of Aldens...

Correction: I speculated whether or not he had a spreadsheet, I have no idea if he does. But it would be interesting to see the list!

What a great collection! I have one pair of Indys but I'm hoping to get some scratch together for more Aldens!

You need the shell Grand Slam - it's not much of a challenge to collect Alden shells.

What's the turnaround on sending a pair of shoes to Alden for repair? Some of the stitching is coming lose on my longwings (bought a month ago).

Despite the issue, I love the shoes (the glow is great). This is my first pair, I probably will add the cigar indys from Epaulet, a pair of the leisure handsewn moccasins and the J Crew tobacco longwing.
