Do wool dress pants break in (stretch slightly)

Do wool dress pants stretch and break in after a few hours of wearing like jeans do? i.e. When i take jeans out of the drier and put them on, they are slightly snug but are perfectly comfortable after a couple hours. Same thing for wool dress pants (sans drier)?

So how does that explain the fact that denim stretches out? It ain't exactly a knit...

denim and wool are both woven, correct?

I think all kinds of fabric are a little bit shrink while washing and reform after a couple hour of wearing, wool too.

Denim may give, but it wont stretch like when you pull a cashmere sweater.

I think you guys are missing the point to my question. Will the fabric relax a little bit after some wear, like denim does? I'm not asking if it is elastic. Thanks

Maybe I'm imagining things but my suit pants always seems to feel a little looser after 12 hours in them.

It won't relax or stretch slightly at all.

yes, of course it does. all fabric has a bit of give. even wovens. but not much, and the give tends to be much more localized and require more force compared to knits, where it's more distributed. for example, if you kneel wearing somewhat trim wool (woven) pants, the give will be concentrated in your knee area and minimal elsewhere. similarly, if you are wearing a woven cotton shirt that's a bit tight, daily / "typical" use won't stretch it out as it would a polo; it will take concerted force applied in a specific spot to generate the give.
