Thanks!

of that collection, i'd keep the mark xv for sure. the others, you could flip one and then pick up a new one down the line if you missed it.

Actually, the one on the watch is a google://"Gunny strap". The other two fine pieces are from (a) google://"Toshi straps" (black thread) and (b) google://"Indy Straps" (green thread).

Of course I can't possibly know where the leather on the strap came from; I meant that the buckle is OPF.

Toshi is the link I provided above. Great straps.

Old picture, but I do love the simplicity of a Vintage Omega. That Blue alligator strap was taken off btw. Panerai is my going to be my second watch purchase, what a beautiful watch.

Right. That's more like it. I had clean/oil, new OEM crystal, new crown/pin, new gasket done last year on a 1958 Seamaster for around $250.

I requested they send it back to me and I am going to take it to family jeweler down on Jeweler's row in Philly. The messed up part is the original jeweler is also family and I really think they are trying to jerk me.

Will update on how it goes and take some pics after repairs.

It is a beautiful, classic watch. Has the "First watch worn on the moon" on the back of it. Kind of cool.

Ag, if that doesn't work out let me know and I'll send you my guys info. He is in Johnstown, PA and is very good. I have a watch that I need to send him.
