God damn. The 35% finally put me over the edge. Nut Brown boots in a 10. Anyone get their Nut Browns yet? Anxious to see how they look in situ.

god damn it, I am hating my life because the lowest size they had in the boots was still a half size or full size too big for me.

you can easily size up a half in the boots if you plan to wear thick socks or an insole. my recent 2 pairs of boots I purposely sized up half for that reason and worked out great

Here are some pics of my nut brown pair:

Only slight issue I could find on these is that the heel counter piece on the inside of the left boot is a little darker then the rest. Not terribly noticeable since it's on the inside and probably just natural variations in the leather and dye.

Yep...5%. I wasn't going to even worry about it but then I thought $20 is $20...then I got curious to see if how they would respond and so I sent the email. Didn't much care either way as it was only $20 but in the end I got the $20 for about 30 seconds worth of effort and I discovered that STP is surprisingly customer service focussed as they were very nice about the whole thing.

Zissou, I was just looking at the old Trickers thread and I saw a pair of coffee captoe brogue boots that LeatherSoul posted"”they caught my eye then and they caught my eye just now. I think the coffee will wear really nicely.

No, I posted it because I was impressed with their level of customer focussed service and thought I'd share as I find such things uncommon with larger companies like that and felt they deserved some praise for it. Why are you so concerned with this?

With this kind of pricing Trickers can be the Pumas of the boot world.

No, I'm not, but thanks for asking Jet. I'm not out to help them, I don't owe them anything, just show that they provide good service which I was pleased with. They are the ones putting out all sorts of different coupons at all different times, amounts, types of use, etc. If they don't want to honor such requests they don't have to, I merely made a polite inquiry as to if the better coupon could be applied retroactively, I was very nice about it and they could have said no with no hard feelings on my part. But they didn't, they honored a better coupon that they had recently released and did so very pleasantly. I thought that was great service. If their are other people who bought these with a 20% coupon or something and wanted to save some extra money then I felt they might like to know the same. I'm not trying to help STP, nor am I really trying to help people here get a better deal...just reporting on my experience with them. I don't owe them or anyone here anything else. They didn't ask me to keep it a secret, I don't see how this is any different then people sharing the 30% off codes they get in emails from STP.

That all being said, this is an aside that this thread does not need so I will say no more on the topic.
