Who is he???

A histrionic wannabe caucasian aristocrat who is the son of Rubinacci, a family of neapolitan tailors and his " style " what we can see.

Spalla, in answer to your question, sexual orientation and elegance are pretty much unrelated.

He is no aristocrat...

Histrionic? Maybe...

For a non English speaker, Spalla does quite well with expressing his thoughts. He can be very funny at times and I enjoy reading his posts.

If that is your theory, stick with it. So you wouldn't be offended if I were to compliment you on your elegance?

He may be elegant but how is that related to his sexuality? I'd refer you to Elton John, Graham Norton, and Liberace, not to mention the many millions of boringly dressed people you may have encountered in your life whose sexual orientation you never bothered to think about but who happen to be gay as evidence to the contrary. As for Spalla, I've no idea whether he's a terrific guy who helps old ladies cross the road and helps the neighbourhood orphans. But the fact that he uses '****' and 'socialist' as insults, combined with the bollocks he was going on about aristocracy and class in this thread can only lead me to reiterate my initial conclusion: namely, that he's a love socket. If something walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, what do we conclude that it is? All in, one of the thickest threads to appear on here of late.

I was jesting. I like giving RSS a hard time and he has the good grace not to be offended. If you can read our PMs, you will see much worse things that I wrote to him.

I didn't know how to translate so I got to be not humble there. Sorry but you got some laughs already.

For me the issue with Spalla is his penchant for generalization. If one reads his posts at WAYWRN, they are usually about "European" style, i.e. pinstripe odd jacket with jeans etc. Having lived all my life in Europe, I have yet to encounter anyone wearing such combinations, however (didn't see one such in Rome last weekend).

It's always about classes, nationalities, homos - never individuals. Even Luca is just a red herring to discuss homos and wannabe aristocrats.

In addition, it would be fairer for Spalla to post some pics of his own, allowing us to compare his sartorial credentials with Luca's.

Sorry - just irritated. I don't suppose the gays of the world need a left-leaning, straight bloke getting bolshy on their behalf anyway.
