Can this blazer be mended?

I got this at GW, and can't believe I missed the hole. Not sure if it's a moth hole or a snag, but the important question is, can it be rewoven - like a sweater? It fits great

Sorry - I'm still trying to figure out how to imbed a decent-sized photo into these posts.

See, I even get good advice that's not about clothes!

Original post is fixed.

Since you bought it at Goodwill, take it back for a credit and buy something else.
No point in sinking money into something as ordinary looking as that jacket.
Your answer otherwise, lies within your question. Seek a reweaver. It can be done.

Nice idea. I already used white-out to make the pinstripes.

It's so annoying GW separates jackets from pants. It's impossible to find the complete suit.

Blazer? Not in a hundred years.

No an orphaned suit jacket.

I don't doubt that you all are correct about it being a suit jacket (although I think it looks fine with dark jeans) - but can you help a noob out and tell me how you know?

don't get me wrong...if you like it and feel that you can wear it with jeans...keep it. it can be fixed.

Well, again, I'm an admitted noob, so maybe there's something I'm missing. But there are plenty of examples of striped blazers out there, including at least one pinstripe:
Dolce and Gabbana
John Varvatos
JoS Bank (who admittedly don't demand much respect around here)
Barney's New York
Junya Watanabe
and Brooks Brothers.

It seems like it's got to be something besides the stripes that tell you it's a suit coat. Help a brother out.
